Yeah, I know you love that too, makes eating much more enjoyable! That is what is perfect about this seasoning it’s a little sweet and a little spicy with depth and warmth!
First, you want to mix together brown sugar, maple syrup, salt, Worcestershire, liquid smoke (hickory flavored), black pepper, sage, ginger, smoked paprika, fennel, thyme, cayenne pepper, and nutmeg in a small bowl.
Now spread the mixture on top of your Sea Bass. Place in oven and bake, until fish is fork tender.
And that is all she wrote folks; that is the recipe, it is as simple as mix, spread, bake, and serve. The great thing is this seasoning works great on fish but also works on steak, chicken, or pork. It is a true universal seasoning rub!
Just keep in mind when cooking you want this on the middle rake in the oven there is sugar in this blend, sugar burns easily, so make sure you use a baking liner on your baking dish or sheet to save yourself from a night of scrubbing.
