Another month has come and gone… Well more like 6 months have come and gone. A lot has happened a lot of life changes took place. This year has been interesting, to say the least. Right?!?
I was able to squeeze a post in to let you all know what was going on and where I was. The one thing I left out of that post, was, we were told no cameras in or around our home… which really put a damper on the blog and business.
Typically during the summer, you see a lot of J and E posts, fun things we are doing as well as recipes. With no cameras, it made it hard to move forward. I do my food photography in natural light so I wasn’t able to use my studio for the recipe. Heaven forbid I work just to be accused of recording or photographing the neighbor. But! GREAT NEWS! If you missed the announcement on Facebook or Instagram here it is!
With that said we are happy to be back! We are happy to start the next chapter of our lives both in business and personally.
Thank you for hanging in there and thank you for all your love and support. Please be patient with us as we do our best to get back on track, as we are out of the groove.
Now let’s dive into the Monthly Scoop for September.
High Lights: Not much as happened except for the news I shared above!
- Journey to Becoming Debt-Free Why Take a Pandemic Pause
- Simple and Easy Garlic and Rosemary Parsnip Carrot Fries
- Festive Fall Desserts That Will Get You in the Fall Spirit
- How to Make Campfire Foil Dill Potatoes
- Simple Weeknight One-Pot Wonder Meals Your Family Will Love
Look Ahead: Expect for the Friday Newsletters to pick back up. Recipes and freebies straight to your inbox. You can sign up using the form in the sidebar.
I am also working on revamping the website, part of that will be revamping a BUNCH of the old posts that I did 3+ years ago. Before I knew what I was doing. Here is what to expect.
- Jump to recipe buttons on all recipe posts
- Info Graphs (How To’s) for all recipe posts
- Link to other recipes related in some way shape or form to the recipe post
- More facts or tips and tricks in every recipe post
- And so much more I am working on behind the scenes
- All roundups are being revamped as well so they have the same layout and all the link work properly.
Please keep in mind that this is a year + project but it will be totally worth it. I am revamping 2-5 recipes a month and giving you 2 new recipes a month as well.
Life Scrambles in quarantine: This summer we have really just stayed put. Lots of puzzles, video games, gardening, and hammock reading. The garden is loving all the attention this year!
Watching: With the election around the corner I am really trying to gain all the knowledge I can. I am not a lefty or a righty… honestly, I think they need guidance. As president you work for the people by the people, that is true to anyone in the government, however, most of them are working for personal gain which is sad and frustrating as a middle-class citizen.
I think this election will be just like the last we will have to vote for the lesser of two evils, unfortunately.
Excited for: FALL! I know people don’t like to hear that but this summer has been brutally hot so I am ready for a slight cool down and the smell of apples and cinnamon.
Future Goals: Just to get back on track.
Until Next Month
