Simple, quick, and full of flavor! If you’re looking for a new side dish or a simple snack look no further than this Simple Smoked Paprika Cauliflower!
Is it me or has cauliflower become the new “IT” veggie? Honestly, the day my mom said paprika cauliflower I cringed a bit. Growing up the only places I remember seeing these white veggies florets were on a basic veggie tray or in a pack of frozen veggies. Like many of you, cauliflower was not my first choice when it comes to choosing a vegetable side dish.
So, what is all the hype about? Nowadays, you see it everywhere, in pizza crust, replacing the chicken in Buffalo wings, even as a rice substitute.
My feelings toward Cauliflower changed when my Mom came for a visit. She bought some to serve with dinner, I was like…umm…not so sure about that mom.
Of course, like many Mom’s, she’s always ready to teach her children something new, show them you’re wrong you’re going to like this. When it came out of the oven and I skeptically tasted it, I thought okay mom you proved your point and I almost ate the entire plate, before it hit the table.
The best part is, it is as easy as cut the cauliflower into pieces and toss with a little olive oil, white pepper, and paprika. Finally, you dump on the baking tray and bake. Simple easy and only minutes away from an incredible side dish.
Truthfully, I even make this just for a daytime snack throughout my week. What is there not to love about Simple Smoked Paprika Cauliflower?
So now all that is left is for you to grab yourself a drink, put on some good music, and get cookin’!!

I love cauliflower! I would never have thought to roast it with paprika and white pepper but that sounds amazing! I will have to make them this week!
I have tried baking cauliflower with regular paprika but smoked paprika sounds EVEN better. Pinterest this recipe 🙂
P:S I also do the same with brussels sprouts and once they are done baking, I add a tablespoon of honey and a teeny bit vinaigrette. SO GOOD!
Happy baking!
That sounds wonderful!! Thanks for sharing I will have to try that on Brussel sprouts!!! Thank you for the Pin and your kind words!!

I love smoked paprika and love adding it to cauliflower. This is such a tasty and easy to make side dish.
Thank you!! You are absolutely right!
Oh yum! I love paprika and cauliflower so this dish sounds delicious. Definitely trying it the next time we get cauliflower
Paprika I feel is a totally underused spice. A little sweet, smokey with a hint of spice. Combined with roasted nutty cauliflower, somedays I think “so simple but yet it took this long to make.” I mean really!?!?! Thank you!! I hope you enjoy
This looks and sounds AMAZING! I don’t know why I’ve never thought about doing this before.
Thanks for sharing. We will for sure be making this.

I know so simple right!!! My mom always knows best… Don’t tell her I said that, lol!! Thank you for the positive words!!! Love your site, by the way, I think I know what I will be reading this weekend!
This looks so yummy! I must confess that I don’t think I’ve ever bought fresh cauliflower, but this recipe makes me want to grab some!
I had only bought frozen until that week my mom came to town, so I totally get it! Now I buy it fresh at least once a month and when the season is right I buy the rainbow cauliflower just because it is pretty, honestly, it tastes the same as the white.
A favourite with me. I do have some smoked paprika and olive oil – so will give it a whirl. Particularly when I can remember the recipe in my head. Yum!
I love recipes that are a few ingredients thrown together then dumped in a pan to bake. Don’t get me wrong I love cooking in the kitchen but these days who has the time lol I am glad you stopped by and enjoy this simple recipe!!
I DEFINITELY want to try that soon! Sounds wonderful, and everyone else in the family is getting tired of roasted Brussels sprouts.
Hahahaha I thought I was the only one overdoing it on the roasted Brussels sprouts my family is begging for a change too!! I really hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as my family does!!
Unfortunately, cauliflower has a bad rap. It is quite tasty if people gave it a chance ! This recipe looks good!
It really does… poor cauliflower. But with all these amazing recipes out there people will get to know the true cauliflower and grow to love it!!
Oh my gosh this looks delicious! I’m going to have to make this for my husband soon.
Thank you!! I hope you and the hubby enjoy it as much as I do!!
I absolutely love cauliflower, but I must admit that I love it plain so much that I haven’t tried any of these popular recipes yet. The buffalo cauliflower “wings” do sound good, and I love the simplicity of your smoked paprika cauliflower recipes. Can’t wait to try it!
I have been wanting to try the buffalo ones too!! They look so good!! And roasting the cauliflower just brings out the nutty flavor!! I hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!!
This sounds delicious! I think it might be a good, healthier replacement for baked fries on occasion.
It is a substitute for baked fried, my other favorite is my roasted carrot and parsnip recipe, I load them up with herbs so I don’t even need condiments!!
I don’t usually enjoy cauliflower but this recipe could possibly change that.
I used to be the same way!! What is it about it you don’t like? The bitterness, the weird aftertaste? Roasting it was the game changer for me it really altered the taste!!
I just picked up some cauliflower at the store today! Might just give this a try, thanks for the recipe!
Go for it!! Love Cauliflower! What is your favorite thing to do with it?
This looks absolutely delicious! Definitely need to make this with dinner one night.
The thing I love most is how quick it is to throw together!! Perfect side dish or snack for any day of the week!
this looks amazing and I cannot wait to try it out!
Enjoy!! Thank you!
Oh I like cauliflower! Will definitely try this.
Enjoy!! Simple Easy and Delicious!!
