  • 4 slices Applewood Smoked Bacon diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 small onion chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 clove garlic Minced
  • 1 12 oz bag frozen corn thawed and drained
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cilantro
  • 1 cup whole milk


  • Fry up diced bacon until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside. Drain excess grease from pan.
  • Place onions in the pan with the butter and salt. Saute for 2 minutes until onions have softened.
    Add in garlic and give a quick stir
  • Stir in thawed out corn! Make sure it is thawed, frozen corn with sizzle and pop out of the pan, you may get hurt so only make this recipe with thawed and drained corn.
  • Sir in chili powder, cilantro and flour. Then slowly add and whisk in the milk (about 1/4 cup at a time), until desired sauce consistency is achieved.
  • Stir bacon back in and serve.


Be careful you only use thawed out and drained corn for this recipe stirring frozen corn in could end in injury.
